The importance of ordering the right size futon cover.
Futon covers are typically made to fit up to an 8″ thick mattress. This means if you own a futon mattress that is 6-8″ thick than your mattress should fit into the cover. But what happens if you own a 9″ or 10″ thick mattress.
This could be a problem. Not so. Many futon cover manufacturers offer for a fee to change the loft or size of the corner of the futon cover to fit your selected mattress.

Thanks for this great info about custom covers. Covers do so much for futons that there’s no excuse to not have one, and you really need it to fit well or it’ll just be a hassle.
